The case against disposables

Run the numbers on disposable pads and the verdict writes itself. A training puppy goes through several a day; a senior dog on incontinence duty can use more. At typical prices that's a running subscription to your own trash can — hundreds of pads a year, bought, soiled, bagged and landfilled, forever.

One washable pad rewrites the ledger. It costs about as much as a couple of weeks of disposables, then works for years: our four-layer build is engineered to survive the washing machine hundreds of times without the TPU barrier giving up or the flannel top pilling into sadness.

The performance argument is just as one-sided. Disposables wrinkle, shift and leak at the edges; our pads grip the floor with a silicone base, absorb faster, hold up to twelve hours impermeable, and never end a night crumpled in a corner while the puddle explores the grout.

And the quiet bonus: nothing about a washable pad has to look medical. We build ours like home textiles — colors and textures you don't hide when guests come — because the mess is temporary but the room is yours all day.
