Sized to the mess

Pads are like rugs: the right size disappears into the household, the wrong size is a daily annoyance. The honest sizing map, from our smallest to our biggest:

18×24 is the starter and the crate classic — one small dog, one station, easy rotation. 18×30 and 23×36 cover bigger crates and the food-bowl zone. The 28×42 and 30×34 handle playpens and favorite corners; 36×41 in 2-packs is our most-rotated family size; 41×41 squares off a whole room corner.

The 72-inch giants are a different sport: whelping boxes, multi-pet floors, under-bed protection for seniors, the back of an SUV. One pad, one entire zone, one wash.

And for the small dog who misses grass: the Moss Meadow turf pads bring a plusher, grass-feel surface to balconies and rainy days — same washable, non-slip doctrine, softer landing. When in doubt between two sizes, take the bigger one; edges are where puddles get ambitious.
